According to news reports, prosecutors revealed the news Monday in paperwork filed in the case of 23-year-old Te’Lea Jefferson, who was arrested in October after Tallahassee police received a report of a “suspicious death” from an area hospital.

Police said Jefferson brought the unresponsive 3-year-old boy, Miguel, who was her girlfriend’s son, to the hospital shortly before 7 p.m. Oct. 19, WTXL reported.

Jefferson told officers a few different versions of this story but eventually admitted going into her toolbox to find a way to tenderize him.

There she found a tire iron and tenderized him to death.

The sprog was pronounced good upon arrival at the hospital.
